Creator: Imaginative and artistic, helps to realise a vision

But what’s our compass...?

When Creator Club first started, the goal was to help business owners grow, and have fun along the way. To be honest, back then, even though we wrote a manifesto, we didn’t really think about our philosophy, or a guiding ‘North Star’.

But soon enough, as we got clearer on the work that mattered, and the types of businesses that we could serve most powerfully, our philosophy came through.

Now, we use these three guiding principles to help steer us, for events, educational resources, and more.

Intention: Because we care. And so should you. In small business, we want to do the things we do, for a reason. There’s a lot of noise, and a lot of distraction. So, we bring intent to all of our work with clients. This helps us to work with clients to focus on what is relevant to their unique business, and lives, today.

Truth: “the truth tends to be compelling.” On any given day, we can open up the internet, and see a lot of seductive ideas. To grow a sustainable business, it’s our duty to make sure that the quest for truth never stops. And we work hard to make sure influence our time, our decisions and create clarity and business progress.

Energy. Life isn’t to be ‘endured’. It is to be lived, and explored. It’s an adventure. But, what would you say to someone growing their business, hitting some doubt, or resistance? Keep going. To do that, we need strong, stable energy. We need to be able to produce over time. To build, and preserve our energy, we build our skillset, and we use support.

Creator Club Manifesto

May you never dull your edge, play small, or hold back to conform to social media norms

Enthusiasm and success are linked

You don’t need to do small talk if you don’t like it

If time is valuable, then we’re always under tight deadlines

Your story is your strategy, not just your messaging

If you make a promise, keep it. Especially to yourself

Over communicating beats under communicating

Some won’t like it when you show your work. Most will stay silent. Train yourself to ignore ‘em!

Seek outside resources

Technology is a tool not an overlord

Give before you expect to receive

The depth of your relationships creates the extent of your success

Don’t suppress your quirks, oddities or personality. Amplify them

Prolific can be better than good

Different can be better than better

Speed is not seperate from care or connection

Remember why you started

Your work matters
